What is “Hop-Rock”?
It’s time to raise up or get down, because the CAPGUN CRIMINALS are tearing through this industry like a freight train. Some might even ask what the meaning of “Hop-Rock” is. Hop-Rock is the in-your-face scorching mix of PUNK/CRUNK/ROCK and HIP-HOP.
These guys have attracted tons of attention from Major labels and some of the premier Indie labels in the industry world wide with their infectious hooks and never-ending guitar riffs. They have been praised and hated in the same breath by some of their peers, but they’ve always managed to come out on top and get the last shot. While most bands spend more time just re-inventing the wheel, this super group has launched full speed into something that’s never really been done before.
The CAPGUN CRIMINALS have been burning up the underground scene and rocking to packed venues all across the U.S. with their HIGH ENERGY stage presence and in your face “Hop-Rock” musical style.
Their debut album, “SHOOTING BLANKS”, will be dropping in 2008, and will feature their SMASH HITS “Step Up” and “Rock-Star”. Their underground radio campaign has been met with great success and huge admiration from many of the premier radio stations nationwide. This band is definitely one to watch for in 2008. They’re one of the most highly anticipated and talked about groups coming out of Atlanta, GA.
